Hargrave is 6-1 against Shepherd since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. Hargrave is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Hargrave duked it out with Hardin-Jefferson on Friday. The Falcons fell 7-4 to the Hawks.

Meanwhile, Shepherd fell victim to Liberty and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 13-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Pirates, who until this game were averaging 3.83 runs allowed.

Shepherd's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-8. As for Hargrave, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.

Hargrave couldn't quite get it done against Shepherd in their previous matchup back in March as they fell 4-0. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
