West Salem came tearing into Saturday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the New Ulm Eagles.

Addysen Oldenburg paced West Salem's offense, picking up seven kills. Oldenburg got some help from Madison Kaiser and her 11 assists.

West Salem's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for New Ulm, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

West Salem wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Austin on the 20th. As for New Ulm, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Worthington on the 20th.
