Soccer Recap: Rancocas Valley Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Rancocas Valley and Northern Burlington meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Red Devils fell 4-2 to the Greyhounds. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Rancocas Valley couldn't quite close it out.

Rancocas Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Northern Burlington, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rancocas Valley will challenge rival Moorestown at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Northern Burlington is set to square off against their familiar foe Cinnaminson on Tuesday.
