Weed has gone 9-1 against Trinity recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cougars will look to defend their home court against the Wolves at 8:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Weed sitting on six straight victories and Trinity on four.

On Friday, Weed humbled Fall River with a 65-34 victory. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 493rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 1312th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Trinity made easy work of Modoc on Saturday and carried off a 63-41 win. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Weed, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.
