Basketball Recap: Dawson Sets Scoring Season-High Against Loop

Dawson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 63-45 to the Loop Longhorns. One positive for the Dragons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Dawson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Loop, their victory bumped their record up to 22-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dawson will venture away from home to face off against Klondike at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Klondike will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Dawson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Loop, they will head out to challenge Sands at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
