Stover piles up the points against Versailles

Recap: Stover Bulldogs vs. Versailles Tigers
The Stover Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2023 than the 65-35 stomp they got at home against Versailles. Stover might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three contests by 30 points or more this season.
Ashlyn Pinzke continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with six steals. That makes it ten consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Stover's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Bauer, who scored 14 points along with five steals.
Stover's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Versailles, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Stover will be playing in front of their home fans against Russellville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Versailles will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Buffalo at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th.
