There's no place like home for Monta Vista, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Gunn Titans on Tuesday as the Monta Vista Matadors made off with a 3-0 win. Considering the Matadors have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Yichen Gao and Chunming (Ben) Zhang scored all three of Monta Vista's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Monta Vista's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matchups. As for Gunn, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 3-3-5.

Monta Vista didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Milpitas on the 16th. Gunn has also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Lynbrook on the 16th.
