Football Recap: Sumter County Piles Up the Points Against Griffin + How To Watch

Sumter County won the last time they faced Griffin and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers breezed past the Bears to the tune of 42-13. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Sumter County has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Griffin, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sumter County will take on Pike County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Griffin, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Spencer at 7:30 p.m. on September 5.
