Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity Christian Academy). They walked away with a 55-44 win over the Excel Christian Academy Eagles on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Eagles back in November of 2024, they had to take a 41-35 defeat.

Cenzie Pyeatt continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 23 points and five steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 18 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Haven Stephens, who posted nine points and six rebounds.

Trinity Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Excel Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Paydan Handlin, who had 20 points. Another player making a difference was Miah Handlin, who earned eight points.

Trinity Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season. As for Excel Christian Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-12.
