Baseball Recap: Rock Ridge Takes a Loss

Rock Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Potomac Falls Panthers, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Phoenix have lost by exactly ten runs.

Rock Ridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nikhil Middha, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Middha also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Rock Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Potomac Falls, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Rock Ridge will face off against Broad Run at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Potomac Falls, they will challenge Dominion at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
