Soccer Recap: Jacobs Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Jacobs was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the West Chicago Wildcats could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

With that draw, Jacobs' record moves to 2-0-1. As for West Chicago, they moved theirs to 0-1-1.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Jacobs face off against Bartlett at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bartlett's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for West Chicago, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Huntley on the 24th.
