Football Game Recap: Dakota Valley vs. Lennox

Everything went Dakota Valley's way against Lennox on Friday as they made off with a 50-18 win. The win was familiar territory for Dakota Valley, who now have eight in a row.

Dakota Valley's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 22 first-half points. Lennox countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 22-6 going into the half. Dakota Valley put the matchup away in the third quarter with 28 points from the offense and six points allowed from the defense. They added further sheen to their flawless record, now 8-0. Lennox are on a five-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 3-5.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Dakota Valley will stay at home next week against Tea at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both of those teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. Lennox will be staying on the road, facing off against West Central.
