Springfield and Northeast are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Yellow Jackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Northeast will have to contend with a Springfield squad hungry for a victory, something the team hasn't seen since March 11. Springfield fell 2-0 to Liberty Creek on Thursday.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Northeast brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They blew past West Creek 4-1 on Thursday. The score was close at halftime, but Northeast pulled away in the second half with three goals.

The win snapped Northeast's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-3 record. As for Springfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-2.

Springfield was able to grind out a solid victory over Northeast in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 5-3. Will the Yellow Jackets repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
