Softball Recap: Foothill Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Foothill can now relate to. They came up short against the Las Plumas Thunderbirds on Tuesday, falling 9-2. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Naima Braham made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. Brea Olsen was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Foothill's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Las Plumas, the win was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 29-1-1.

As of now, neither Foothill nor the Thunderbirds have any future games scheduled.
