Volleyball Recap: Bergen Catholic Takes a Loss

Bergen Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bergenfield Bears. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bears this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Wednesday.

Bergen Catholic now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Bergenfield, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-8.

Coming up, Bergen Catholic will host Pioneer Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bergenfield, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Hackensack on the 10th.
