Volleyball Recap: Aquinas Takes a Loss

Aquinas lost against Fox Creek back in August of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Fightin' Irish took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Predators.

While Aquinas ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21.

Fox Creek found their leader in sophomore Ellie Warner, who had seven digs and two aces.

Aquinas dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Aquinas will square off against Harlem at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fox Creek, they will be playing at home against Evans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
