Recap: Hammond Central Wolves vs. Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors
The Hammond Central Wolves pushed their score all the way to 57 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 66-57 to Hammond Bishop Noll.
Despite the loss, Hammond Central still got an impressive performance from Marcus Browder, who scored 24 points along with three steals. Browder has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Da'shawn Woods was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Hammond Central's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-6.
Hammond Central on the road again on Thursday and play against Proviso East at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Wheeler at 7:00 p.m. Wheeler has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8.
