While Napoleon put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Southview. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Cougars 1-0. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Napoleon's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cal Bickel, who went 1-for-4 with one double.

Napoleon's win bumped their record up to 11-4-1. As for Southview, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Napoleon will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cougars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
