De La Salle barely beat St. Mary the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spartans really took it to the Rams for the full four quarters, racking up a 36-7 win. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 26 points or more this season.

De La Salle's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Duece Jones-Drew, who rushed for 66 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries. Jaden Jefferson was another key rusher, rushing for 63 yards and one touchdown on only five carries.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something De La Salle proved: they limited St. Mary's to a paltry 2.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Bubba Vargas for the heroic effort on defense: he. De La Salle hasn't allowed more than 6.1 yards per carry in four consecutive contests.
