Baseball Recap: Exeter Comes Up Short

Exeter managed to slip by Lockwood the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Exeter lost 8-0 to Lockwood on Tuesday. The shutout was out of character for Exeter seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Exeter's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Lockwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Exeter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lockwood, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 8-6 defeat against Billings on the 20th.
