Football Recap: Metuchen Takes a Loss

Metuchen suffered their biggest loss since September 27, 2024 on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 30-0 loss at the hands of the New Providence Pioneers. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost four in a row.

Cameron Hayes-Durina threw for 80 yards on eight of 12 attempts. Justus Leitner was his top target, picking up 40 receiving yards.

Metuchen's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for New Providence, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0.
