Volleyball Recap: Bisbee Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bisbee lost against Morenci back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pumas fell 3-1 to the Wildcats. The Pumas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Morenci scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 23-25, 25-18, 25-19.

Morenci found their leader in sophomore Jayliana Guzzo, who had 13 digs and two assists. Guzzo has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Bisbee's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Morenci, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Bisbee and Benson will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morenci, they will venture away from home to face off against Desert Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
