Soccer Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Hillcrest lost against Rigby back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-1. Hillcrest have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Maddox Sandoval, which was the first he's scored this season.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rigby, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Hillcrest will welcome Canyon Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rigby, they will head out on the road to square off against Skyline at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
