Volleyball Recap: Auburndale Beats Pittsville for Their Fourth Straight Victory + How To Watch

Auburndale came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Pittsville Panthers by a score of 3-1. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Auburndale was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-21, 25-11.

Auburndale was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matches.

Auburndale's win bumped their record up to 22-12. As for Pittsville, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 13-18.

Looking ahead, Auburndale will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Neillsville at 7:00 p.m. Pittsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
