Recap: Graham Red Devils vs. Seaforth Hawks
The Graham Red Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Seaforth, falling 63-15. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Graham in their matchups with Seaforth: they've now lost six in a row.
Leading Seaforth to victory were Gabby White and Peyton Collins. White scored 15 points along with six rebounds and six steals, while Collins scored 14 points along with six assists and five steals. White has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Ballard, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Graham has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season. As for Seaforth, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Graham won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Jordan-Matthews at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Seaforth, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Southeast Alamance at 8:00 p.m. Southeast Alamance has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 238 points over their last four contests.
