It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hanford West can now relate to. They fell just short of the Edison Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Huskies' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Hanford West saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keira Nunes, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Hanford West's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Edison, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Hanford West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edison, they will head out on the road to challenge Bakersfield Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 3.9, the Eagles 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
