It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shelby can now relate to. They lost 67-46 to the Bandys Trojans on Tuesday. The Golden Lions' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Despite the defeat, Shelby saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tyler Morgan posted nine points. Immanuel Collins was another key player, putting up six points.

It was another big night for Landon Vaughan, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 16 boards for Bandys. Vaughan's big performance that evening made it 14 games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Evan Robinson, who went 7-for-11 en route to 17 points and six rebounds.

Shelby's loss dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Bandys, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Shelby does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bandys, they have already played their next game, a 63-57 win against Lincoln Charter on the 7th.
