Williston is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Ray is on a six-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Coyotes will welcome the Ray Jays at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Williston lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Mandan, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. The Coyotes blew past the Braves 11-1 on Tuesday.

Ray never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Divide County on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Maroons with a sharp 20-4 win. The Ray Jays haven't had any issues with the Maroons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Brinlee Cancade was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one hit any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Autumn Bloms and Nevaeh Polglaze did most of the damage at the plate: Bloms went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double, while Polglaze went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Edwards, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Ray always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Williston's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Ray, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Williston hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .400. However, it's not like Ray struggles in that department as they've averaged .333. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
