Basketball Recap: Seven Straight Home Wins for Monticello

Monticello had won six straight home games and Megan Allen did her part to make it seven on Thursday. The Monticello Sages came out on top against the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans by a score of 34-24 thanks in part to Allen, who went 6 of 13 on her way to 13 points and eight rebounds. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Monticello has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Monticello has already played their next contest, a 64-30 victory against Rantoul on the 27th. St. Joseph-Ogden has also already played their next matchup (against St. Teresa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
