Fillmore extended their postseason success on Tuesday against San Jacinto Valley Academy. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Wolves. The Flashes' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Johan Reyes was a standout: he went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. He has become a key player for Fillmore: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 7-17 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Javi Contreras, who went 4-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Fillmore was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .513. The last time their batting average was this high was was before the start of last season.

The win made it two in a row for Fillmore and bumps their season record up to 11-17. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-10.

Looking ahead, Fillmore will challenge La Quinta at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Aztecs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Flashes surely won't give up without a fight. San Jacinto Valley Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
