Wahkiakum has gone a perfect 5-0 against Ocosta recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mules will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Wahkiakum sitting on four straight wins and Ocosta on three.
Wahkiakum is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: Oakville, who was ranked 17th at the time (Wahkiakum was ranked second). The Mules blew past the Acorns 62-6 on Friday. Fans of the Mules have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Jayden Stoddard was his usual excellent self, rushing for 159 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 59 yards and one TD. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 109.2 rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was Parker Leitz, who picked up 103 receiving yards and one score.
Wahkiakum's run defense was locked in: Oakville could only muster 1.5 yards per carry. The team can thank Kyle Gonzales for the heroic effort on defense: he. Wahkiakum didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 16.5.
Meanwhile, Ocosta blew past Chief Leschi, posting a 47-6 victory. That looming 47-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wildcats yet this season.
Wahkiakum better keep an eye on Ronin Rutzer. He was instrumental in Ocosta's win, rushing for 201 yards and three TDs on only ten carries. Rutzer's longest rush was for an incredible 96 yards. Benjamin Tackett was another key player, rushing for 57 yards and one touchdown on only six carries.
Ocosta's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Wahkiakum, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Wahkiakum has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 188.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Ocosta struggles in that department as they've been averaging 315.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
