Big Rapids put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 26-0 margin over the Grant Tigers. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Tigers are ranked 407th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Big Rapids' victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Grant, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Big Rapids will face off against Coopersville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grant, they will take on Morley Stanwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
