Mariner not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 3, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the South Fort Myers Wolfpack 3-0. The Tritons were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Wolfpack, so the Tritons were just returning the favor.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-18.

Mariner has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for South Fort Myers, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Mariner will head out to face off against Cape Coral at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Tritons their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for South Fort Myers, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Immokalee on the 21st.
