Softball Game Preview: Princeton Tigers vs. Bluefield Beavers

The Princeton Tigers will head out to face off against the Bluefield Beavers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Bluefield took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Princeton, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Princeton turned things around against Mount View on Thursday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Golden Knights. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Bluefield had taken Wyoming East down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Beavers fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 12-11. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (ten), the Beavers still had to take the loss.

Bluefield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Princeton, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.

Princeton came up short against Bluefield when the teams last played on Friday, falling 10-6. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
