With a playoff win on the line, New Albany rose to the challenge on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Mifflin Punchers an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

New Albany is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Mifflin, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-11.

As of now, neither New Albany nor the Punchers have any future games scheduled.
