            Volleyball Recap: Brainerd Warriors vs. Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres        
        
		
        
        
            Brainerd was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They came up short against  the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres, falling  3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the  3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2024.
 The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16,  25-13.
Brainerd's offense was headlined by  Paige Skoglund and  Keeley Gondringer, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from  Bella Goggleye and her 12 assists. She was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with two aces.
Brainerd's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, their  win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2.
 Looking ahead, Brainerd will head out on the road to  square off against  Detroit Lakes  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, they will be taking part in a tournament against Benilde-St. Margaret's  at 6:15  p.m.  on Friday.
