West Memphis Christian snaps six-game streak of wins at home

The West Memphis Christian Black Knights won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They suffered a rough 65-41 defeat at the hands of DeSoto. If West Memphis Christian hoped to take revenge for the 69-34 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.

Leading DeSoto to victory were Carsyn Gore and Anslee Barnes. Gore scored 16 points along with six steals, while Barnes scored 27 points along with two blocks. Gore is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Emmy Barnes, who scored six points along with five steals.

West Memphis Christian's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3. As for DeSoto, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

West Memphis Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. DeSoto also has no future games currently scheduled.
