Basketball Recap: Sioux Center Comes Up Short

Sioux Center lost against Spencer back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sioux Center Warriors fell 52-43 to the Spencer Tigers. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sioux Center's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Spencer, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Sioux Center won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Central Lyon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sioux Center is facing Central Lyon at the right time seeing as Central Lyon is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Spencer, they and Cherokee Washington will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Spencer will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Cherokee Washington will have lost three straight heading into Friday's game.
