Baseball Recap: Pinewood Prep Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against May River, Pinewood Prep was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the South Lakes Seahawks 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since March 8th.

Pinewood Prep's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for South Lakes, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Pinewood Prep will face off against Wilson Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Barons at the right time seeing as the Barons are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for South Lakes, they will take on Hickory H in a tournament on Tuesday.
