Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arroyo). They breezed past the Mountain View Vikings to the tune of 48-15 on Thursday. With the Knights ahead 34-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Arroyo's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Angel Casillas, who rushed for 77 yards and one TD, and also threw for 138 yards and one touchdown while completing 73.7% of his passes. Casillas' passing game has become a key predictor of the Knights' success: the team is 3-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-4 otherwise. Jose Penaloza was Casillas' top target, picking up 50 receiving yards and one score, while also punching in one TD on the ground.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Arroyo was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 265 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
