Game recap: Veritas Christian's Lynch and Harvey run past St. John's Military

Alex Lynch ran for three touchdowns and Andrew Harvey added two as well as Veritas Christian (Lawrence, Kan.) beat St. John's Military (Salina, Kan.) 60-12 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a Elijah Harvey touchdown run in the first quarter, the Eagles led 40-12 at the half.

Veritas Christian expanded its lead to 48 points entering the fourth quarter. VC scored four times in the third, including once on a Lynch touchdown run.

Leconte Prophete made a difference for the Muleskinners. The senior tight end caught two touchdowns. His performance brought his touchdown total to five on the year.

Harvey was the top performer for the Lawrence school. He threw one touchdown and ran for two touchdowns.



The Eagles also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 66-34.

Veritas Christian (4-1) goes up against Kansas City East Christian Academy in a non-conference game matchup next week, while St. John's Military (1-4) locks horns with Goessel also in a non-conference game.
