Preview: Christiana Vikings vs. Brandywine Bulldogs
Christiana has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Brandywine Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Delaware (Christiana is ranked 34th, while Brandywine is ranked 47th).
Christiana posted their closest win yet this season on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past St. Georges Tech 38-36.
Meanwhile, Brandywine scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They managed a 49-44 win over McKean. The victory was just what Brandywine needed coming off of a 78-20 loss in their prior match.
Christiana has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Brandywine, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.
Christiana was dealt a bruising 65-32 loss at the hands of Brandywine in their previous meeting back in February of 2021. Can Christiana avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
