Softball Recap: Alburnett Now 10-2 over Last 12 Games

The Alburnett Pirates made easy work of the Northeast Rebels on Saturday and carried off a 10-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Alburnett has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alburnett will square off against North Linn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates are facing the Lynx at the right time seeing as the Lynx are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Northeast, they will be playing at home against Maquoketa at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
