Basketball Recap: Lev Goldman Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat North Shore Country Day

Francis W. Parker posted their closest victory since December 13, 2024 on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-46 win over the North Shore Country Day Raiders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colonels.

Francis W. Parker got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lev Goldman out in front who went 8 of 12 en route to 20 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Goldman is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Brady Harris was another key player, putting up 13 points and five steals.

Luke Ryan and Kaeden Ackley certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Ryan posted 19 points, while Ackley had 17 points.

Francis W. Parker is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for North Shore Country Day, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.
