Soccer Recap: Lubbock Takes a Loss

Lubbock lost against Amarillo back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lubbock Westerners lost 4-1 to the Amarillo Sandies.

Lubbock's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Amarillo, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lubbock will head out to challenge Lubbock-Cooper at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lubbock's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Amarillo, they will head out on the road to square off against Tascosa at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Amarillo is facing Tascosa at the right time seeing as Tascosa is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
