Basketball Recap: Jonesboro-Hodge Takes a Loss

Jonesboro-Hodge lost against Lakeview back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers were beaten by the Lakeview Gators 57-29. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 229th, while the Gators are ranked 32nd).

Jonesboro-Hodge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Lakeview, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Jonesboro-Hodge won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Minden at 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakeview, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Red River at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
