Soccer Recap: Brush Comes Up Short

Brush was the 5-0 winner over Geneva when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Arcs fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Brush couldn't quite close it out.

Brush's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-2. As for Geneva, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Brush didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Elyria on the 25th. As for Geneva, they will venture away from home to challenge Jefferson Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
