Game recap: Horn High School Football Team defeats North Mesquite

MESQUITE, Texas - Horn (Mesquite, Texas) grabbed a lead in the first quarter and rode that momentum to a 42-21 win over North Mesquite (Mesquite, Texas).

The Jaguars scored 14 points in the first quarter. Horn scored on a Destri White touchdown pass to Brian O'Bannon and a touchdown pass by White to Jarrison Stewart.

After taking the lead on a White touchdown pass to Stewart in the first quarter, HHS led 28-14 at the half.

The Jaguars expanded their lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. Horn scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by Treyvon Marsh.

White stood out for HHS in the win. The junior quarterback threw three touchdowns. He has now scored nine touchdowns on the season.



Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 16-13 win for the Jaguars.

With the win Horn extended its winning streak to three games.
