Basketball Recap: Bloomington Comes Up Short

Bloomington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 75-11 loss at the hands of the Shiner Comanches. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats/Lady Cats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1490th, while the Comanches are ranked 557th).

Bloomington's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Shiner, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-8.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Flatonia the next time they take the court. Bloomington will host Flatonia at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Shiner will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
