Coastal Christian entered their tilt with Maricopa on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Indians. That's more bragging rights for the Conquerors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Coastal Christian was: they took every set by at least 20 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-1, 25-5, 25-4.

Emma Mefford had a dynamite game, getting 14 aces. Those 14 aces gave her a new career-high. Montana Fischer also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Coastal Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 38 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive matches.

Coastal Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Maricopa, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
